Products, Services & Pricing for Window Screens All prices below are for walk-in customers.
Rescreening or replacing the screen cloth in your existing frames and replacing broken or missing hardware (we have most hardware / gadgets, but not everything ever made.) Choice of screen cloths include: fiberglass (charcoal or silver gray); pool & patio (black); aluminum (charcoal, black or shiny silver); NoSeeUm (black); pet screen (black.) How to figure your cost: Measure the width and height in inches. Add the inches wide and the inches high together, and multiply by 25¢ for fiberglass screen; 35¢ for pool & patio; 40¢ for aluminum; 45¢ for NoSeeUm; 50¢ for pet screen. Example: Your window screen has fiberglass screen cloth and measures 36” wide and 54” high. 36” PLUS 56” = 90” MULTIPLIED by 25¢ = $22.50. The above prices include any missing hardware. Add 6.5% sales tax to all prices. Turn around time is usually within 2 to 3 business days.
We custom make new window screens at our shoppe with all the necessary hardware / gadgets. Our framing colors are white, tan, mill (aluminum color) and bronze. Choice of screen cloths include: fiberglass (charcoal or silver gray); pool & patio (black); aluminum (charcoal, black or shiny silver); NoSeeUm (black); pet screen (black.) How to figure your cost: Measure the width and height in inches. Add the inches wide and the inches high together, and multiply by 40¢ for fiberglass screen; 50¢ for pool & patio; 55¢ for aluminum; 60¢ for NoSeeUm; 65¢ for pet screen. Example: You need a new window screen with aluminum screen cloth that measures 36” wide and 54” high. 36” PLUS 56” = 90” MULTIPLIED by.55¢ = $49.50. The above prices include all necessary hardware / gadgets. However, crossbars are an additional $2.50. Add 6.5% sales tax to all prices. Turn around time is usually within 4 to 5 business days. Helpful hints . . . please bring in your broken, smashed or bent screens, so that we can duplicate the size and put the hardware in the correct locations on your new screens. For missing screens, you can usually find another screen in your house that will fit that opening to bring in the shoppe for us to duplicate. We do come to your home to measure and/or deliver and/ or install for a fee. Please call for quotes. Our service area is limited to eastern and northeastern Greater Cincinnati within 15 miles of our shoppe.
The Screen Shoppe Policy: We are not responsible for items left in our shoppe over 30 days. All payment is due at time of completion and pick up. When a customer furnishes the measurements and they turn out to be incorrect, there will be a remake charge equivalent to 50% of the original charge. New custom made orders require a MasterCard or Visa credit card number as security. |
